​Directs and performs daily operations of the HBA Government Affairs Department to include public policy, issues management, regulatory and technical affairs, and political committee management. These objectives are achieved through monitoring local government agendas and actions for items impacting the industry, recommending responses, identifying proactive measures, and maintaining lines of communications with local government officials within the CSHBA jurisdictions

​​Directs all membership programs which include recruitment, retention and engagement within the association. Plans and coordinates the HBA home shows as well as membership events such as the Annual Awards Ceremony, PAC Golf Tournament, Emerging Leaders Golf Tournament, Builder Product Expo, Chili Fest, Annual Membership Reception and Board Installation, Party on the Patio and the Holiday Party.

Works directly with the Director of Government Affairs (DGA) of the Housing & Building Association (HBA) to monitor and review all government regulatory activities that affects the housing and building industry. Cultivates and maintains strong working relations with members, government and regulatory agencies, and other statewide organizations on issues that affect the housing and building industry. Facilitates member driven educational classes and seminars as needed.

Workforce Development Coordinator

This position reports to the Executive Director of Careers in Construction. The Workforce Development Coordinator is responsible for working directly with the program’s students and instructors and developing relationships. The Workforce Development Coordinator is tasked with getting to know each student and what their industry-related areas of interests are, potential job opportunities, as well as students’ barriers to employment. The Workforce Development Coordinator helps connect Careers in Construction Colorado (CICC) students to the workforce in construction or construction related fields.
