The CHT benefit programs are specifically customized to meet the unique demands of the construction industry. Contractors Health Trust was Created for Contractors, Designed by Contractors and Managed by Contractors.

Health insurance carriers in Colorado have submitted requests to increase individual market premiums by an average of 27%. (Read a related article in
The Denver Post.) Fortunately for members, the Contractors Health Trust increase is only 4.9%, which could save you thousands of dollars on health insurance.  Learn More

PEER COUNSELING TO HELP FIGHT DRUG & ALCOHOL ADDICTION
To help fight one of the main issues affecting the home building industry, the HBA has partnered with an organization called Face It TOGETHER. This is a new benefit that is intended to be used to bring about overall wellness.  Although Face It TOGETHER - also known as FIT - is new to Colorado, they’ve been in Sioux Falls, SD for over 10 years. They do peer-based coaching with a focus on the person with the disease of addiction as well as their loved ones.

HBA member companies, their employees, and loved ones are covered by this benefit. That means if you have a brother in TX that is struggling with addiction, he can call FIT as well.  They do their coaching via video, phone sessions and in person at their physical location at 636. S. Broadway, Denver, CO.

Coaching at FIT typically costs $300 - $500 per month, so this is an enormous benefit that HBA is providing to its members at no cost.  It is increasingly difficult to find/retain good workers and trades.  Further it's worse when you have to terminate employment and trade relationships a result of someone testing positive for drug or alcohol. And when you’ve terminated that employee, they may continue to spiral without a paycheck. Face it TOGETHER is a resource that you can use to help that individual fight their addiction, help them strengthen their families, and thereby be an even better employee. We're huge proponents of win-win's at HBA.  Learn More

Member Rebate Program
From the Colorado Association of Home Builders (CAHB) Member Rebate Program, is an exciting new initiative, through which the countries leading Manufacturers pay rebates as their way of thanking our members for their loyalty to their products. You may already be using many of these products, so why not get paid a rebate for something you’re already doing? This program is just another example of how being a CAHB member helps your company be more profitable.

All details on this new member benefit can be found at: www.CAHBrebates.com.

CAHB and Small Business Growth Partners
CAHB has partnered with Small Business Growth Partners (SBGP) a company that specializes in helping builders, remodelers, and HBA associate members grow, systemize and streamline their businesses, and in the process, help members put considerably more money on the bottom line.  They only work with HBA members and are completely private.  To test their service here in Colorado, the first 50 member-companies who express interest can have a Business Diagnostic Plan of Actions (BPA) done at no cost.  The BPA looks under the hood of your business very closely (and confidentially), evaluating everything from your marketing & sales results, internal processes & systems, your team, and the overall profitability of your business.
