Are You or Someone You Love Affected By Drug or Alcohol Addiction?
The National Association of Home Builders has identified two major issues affecting the building industry: workforce and addiction. CSHBA's Workforce Development Committee has taken charge of this by creating the Careers in Construction program and the Back to Work Program. Now, the CSHBA Board of Directors is tackling the issue of addiction head on by bringing to you a cutting edge program called Face It TOGETHER that provides confidential peer counseling to help you and your loved ones overcome these addictions. This service is available in person, by phone or video. About 1 in 7 workers in the construction industry struggles with addiction, the second highest of any sector. The impact on a business can be significant and includes loss of productivity, increased healthcare expenses, more absenteeism, higher turnover and much more. |
We Heal TOGETHER
Whether you're living with addiction or someone close to you is struggling, HBA's new member benefit program called Face It TOGETHER offers experienced peer coaches who are uniquely fit to help you improve your overall well-being. As survivors of addiction, they've been there and are dedicated to helping you recover and thrive, just as they have. Addiction is a disease and they treat it that way - forming a circle of support and measuring your improvement as you work together each week.
A true picture of wellness
Face It TOGETHER's Recovery Capital Index® (RCI) measures changes in addiction health. The RCI captures multiple domains of physical, mental and emotional wellness and tracks progress and enables FIT coaches to provide customized support for members and their loved ones.
Recovery capital is the depth and breadth of internal and external resources that can be used by someone to begin and sustain wellness from addiction.
Face It TOGETHER developed the Recovery Capital Index (RCI) to provide more useful information about changes in the well being of our members as they work with our coaches. The RCI tracks changes in three primary areas shown to play a key role in someone's ability to get well from addiction -- personal, social and cultural capital.
