HBA Membership

Membership in the HBA of Colorado Springs means belonging to a larger community – the construction industry. This outstanding group of community business leaders contributes on many levels to bettering themselves, their companies, and the community. They accomplish this by participating in education programs, sharing ideas, serving on committees, implementing changes and working toward common goals for themselves and the industry as a whole.

Builder/Developer Memberships

Builder/Developer Membership shall be open to any person or entity whose business is the construction of housing or commercial buildings or the business of land development within the territorial jurisdiction of this Association. This Association’s jurisdiction shall follow and apply, for assessment purposes or otherwise, to any and all other business entities engaged as general contractor of construction or land development, and in which an Association Member is a principal, i.e. has ownership interests or management responsibilities, provided said other business entity activities are within the territorial jurisdiction of this Association.

All members shall agree to abide by the provisions of the Association By-Laws and any amendments thereof, shall subscribe to a Code of Ethics, and shall meet with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Associate Memberships

Associate Membership shall be open to any person or entity engaged in any allied trade, business, industry, or profession within the territorial jurisdiction of this Association.

All members shall agree to abide by the provisions of the Association By-Laws and any amendments thereof, shall subscribe to a Code of Ethics, and shall meet with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Payment Terms Dues Payment Plan: For Builder and Associate Members, a dues payment plan is available for members who provide credit card information to the HBA. Your credit card will be charged $325 upon joining and $152.50 plus a $10 carrying charge ($162.50 total) in month 3 and in month 6. Selection of the dues payment plan commits you to a full payment of the dues and carrying charges annually. Your credit card will also be charged $325 in your month of renewal with the $162.50 charges being incurred in months 3 and 6. The dues payment plan is not available for members joining in order to participate in major HBA events such as the Home & Garden Show, MAME Awards, or the Parade of Homes.
