The 2009 HBA Membership Drive is April 1 through May 30 with double spikes points March 1 through May 31.
Teams
Teams consist of Committees and Councils and their members. Board of Directors Members who haven’t signed up for a team will be split amongst the teams. (If they don’t want to participate, we will not make them).

Details of the Membership Drive
In conjunction with the National Association of Home Builders, our membership drive centers on a game similar to monopoly. You can advance your team several ways:
Move 1 space:
- Spending one hour making lapsed member calls
- Engage an uninvolved member by escorting them to an event or program, getting them to join a committee or council
Move 3 spaces:
- For each new member recruited
- Submit and editorial to HBA on how membership benefits you and your business (maximum 4 editorials per team)
Who to call?
All participants will be encouraged to contact their own vendors or business contacts first. No cold calling unless they want to. Lists will be available – cancelled members, prospective members, companies that have pulled permits from Regional Building Department, companies from the Business Journal’s Book of Leads.

Wrap Up Party
A wrap up party to be held at Banning Lewis Ranch on June 24th at the After Hours announcing the winning team and acknowledging all who participated.
