Widefield Community Park Master Plan to be Updated
El Paso County Parks seeks your input with a survey
El Paso County Parks is asking for the public's input in updating the master plan for Widefield Community Park, which includes a reservoir, 18-basket disc golf course, playground, basketball courts, and a multi-use athletic field with baseball backstop.
Citizens are encouraged to participate in a community-wide survey of their favorite features of the park, satisfaction with existing facilities and maintenance, and what additional improvements or activities the community would suggest. The survey is open only through Oct. 9. Take the survey now
Help Shape the City of Colorado Springs
Take part in the comprehensive plan process!
For the first time in 15 years, the City of Colorado Springs, together with City Council, is creating a comprehensive plan for the city's future, and they want an abundance of citizen input. The "PlanCOS" campaign is a two-year process that asks citizens, "What do you want Colorado Springs to be in 10 years?" From new shopping areas, community centers, housing choices, employment, educational opportunities, trails, recreation facilities, and redevelopment, to a re-invented Downtown. Take the Survey
